Montana State Fund’s Job Description Bank is designed to assist employers in developing position-specific job descriptions that highlight the physical demands of the job. The bank contains generic descriptions for a variety of positions that can be customized to reflect an organization’s actual physical demands for its positions.

Job descriptions contain information that is useful for medical providers in determining whether an individual can safely return to work while healing from a workplace injury / illness. Including the job description in the Grab N Go kit allows for this form to be given to the treating medical provider at the initial medical appointment.

It is critical that each organization review and customize the applicable job descriptions to accurately reflect its employees’ job duties prior to using the descriptions in the Grab N Go kit.
