Safety: A Smart, Engaging, Belief
Open to Any Montana Worker
Montana State Fund’s Safety Services Specialist Kirk Smith will hit the road this June to present his free safety workshop Safety: A Smart, Engaging, Belief. A virtual option will take place at the end of the month.
Topics Include:
A Smart Tool for the Workplace: When you hear cell phones and safety in the same sentence, it usually conjures the idea of distracted driving. However, the cell phone can benefit your organization’s safety efforts. These amazing devices allow you to communicate, take photos and videos and access thousands of different applications. In this session, we’ll introduce you to creative ways to use the cell phone to influence a safer workplace.
Believe in Safety: Our perceptions affect every facet of our lives. How we evaluate the world around us. How we make decisions. And most importantly, how we conduct ourselves. This is especially true when it comes to workplace safety. Join us for a discussion on how to align your employees’ perceptions to influence a positive safety culture
An Engaged Workforce: Engaged employees are more productive and motivated. So, it’s only natural that engaged employees from all levels of your business can lead to stronger safety beliefs. One effective way to do this is through a safety committee. In this section we’ll discuss how to build and maintain an active safety committee.
