After careful consideration, Montana State Fund has canceled our September in-person safety workshops. The September workshops will be held virtually, via Zoom.

Topics include:

Identify On-the-Job Hazards
: Identifying hazards in your workplace is one of the first steps to build a strong safety culture. But before you begin, you need to ask yourself the who, what and how of identifying and reducing hazards at your business.  In this section, we’ll answer the who, what and how, explore hazard identification best practices, and explain how a good hazard reporting program enhances this process.

The Right Vehicle Safety Program:  You might not have a designated “fleet” of vehicles for your employees to drive, but if they use their own vehicles for business purposes, it can create a risk for your organization. This type of vehicle use is referred to as a “hidden fleet.”  In this session, we will address the best safety practices for “hidden fleets” and traditional fleet vehicle programs.
