The first half of this course will explore the critical role of situational awareness in identifying hazardous situations, preventing incidents, and strengthening organizational safety performance. Participants will learn how human factors, environmental conditions, workload, communication gaps, and cognitive biases can affect an individual’s ability to recognize and respond to risks in real time.

The second half of this course will examine the often-overlooked barriers that prevent employees from reporting near misses. Participants will gain insight into how these hidden obstacles can increase the
potential for future incidents and how we can identify solutions to help improve your program.

This course is designed for employees, supervisors, safety professionals, and leaders who are committed to building a stronger safety culture and preventing workplace incidents before they occur.
