All the latest safety wisdom and resources, coming your way. Montana State Fund hosts a variety of training workshops and special events targeted for a variety of industries and business sizes. Taking place throughout the state, these free, interactive seminars are just one more tool employers can use to ensure an all-encompassing culture of safety at their business. Supervisors, business owners, managers, safety committee members and workers’ compensation personnel are encouraged to attend. What does a typical workshop cover? Here’s a brief sample of one of our Safety Workshops. It’s called “How to Change Your Workplace Culture.” It covers: • Written Safety Plans: Fearing the blank sheet of paper? Get it all in writing by crafting an effective safety plan, without too much stress. • Hazardous Communication: Effectively inform employees about hazardous chemicals. • Finding Hidden Hazards: Learn to identify hidden hazards that are not being addressed in the workplace.
