The construction industry ranks third in number of deaths to young people. In fact, 14% of these deaths are individuals 18 or younger. Of course, construction also ranks as one of Montana’s most valuable sources of economic stability, providing tens of thousands of jobs, and contributing hundreds of millions to the economy. What are your safety hazards? The top four causes of fatalities on construction sites are falls from high places  - workers being hit by objects and vehicles and - workers getting caught between machinery or excavation and  - electrical accidents.
