WorkSafe Champion
A 12-month certification program for employers, employees, and others dedicated to safety in their workplaces and in Montana. This course is offered free of charge to our policyholders. Class enrollment is limited apply now.
Our Common Goal: A Culture of Safety.
Encouraging workplace safety is critical. However, it is not enough. We need a concerted, statewide effort toward a lasting culture of safety in Montana's workplaces and to make sure our state is as safe as it is industrious.
Program Format:
The program follows a 12-month training cycle. Training is held in key Montana locations: Billings, Bozeman, Great Falls, Helena, Kalispell and Missoula. The initial training includes a four-hour introductory class. Then, you’ll attend two follow-up, three and half hour training sessions in the location nearest you. (These are offered in conjunction with regularly scheduled safety workshops.) Two interactive webinar’s will be conducted in December and April (about 90 minutes each), transmitted to the six locations listed above. To close, one final training session will be held, followed by a graduation ceremony. At that point, if you have passed all requirements, you are a Certified WorkSafe Champion.
